Weaving with Weeds
Blue Mountains Bushcare
Friday 5 August
10.00am to 1.00pm

Planetary Health Clubhouse @ the old Katoomba Golf Course, Acacia Street, Katoomba

We need to protect our native species from invasive Honeysuckle so we’re harvesting these weeds and transforming them into baskets for each participant to take home. We will be doing a random weave which is the easiest form of weaving. You will leave the morning with a wreath base, or a basket and learn how to find some weeds in the future to start your weaving practice. We will be pausing half way through the session for a hot drink, or two.

Bring your own thermos filled with hot water and your own cup and some food to share. Book in below so Erin can contact you for the location to meet up.
