Circular Economy

Published by Panetary Health Initiative on

The Blue Mountains Planetary Health Centre has been recognised as a Circular Precinct by Circular Australia (see report below)

We are focused on growing a Circular Economy that restores natural systems and allows us to live within the carrying capacity of our finite planet.

The Centre does this by:

  1. Teaching skills and facilitating new social enterprises for a Circular Economy with our Skill Share Saturdays, our Permaculture and Social Enterprise Design Courses, our Black Water Reuse Research, our stories and shopping guides, and our support for the Blue Mountains Repair Network
  2. Showcasing Circular Water with our Circular Water Demonstration site and education programs on how to restore the hydrological cycle.
  3. Hosting Towards Zero Waste events

We action research for the Circular Economy and welcome partnerships and research opportunities to accelerate the creation of an economy that supports the restoration of Planetary Health.
