Video Storytelling for Local News, Katoomba

Saturday 19 August
11am-4pm
at the Planetary Health Clubhouse, lower ground level of former Katoomba Golf Club, Acacia St, Katoomba
Learn foundational skills for video storytelling from award winning local filmmaker Kalani Gacon.
This workshop will explore principles of cinematography, audio design, editing and developing compelling stories.
By the end of this workshop, you will be equipped to generate video stories using equipment freely available online and/or accessible in any current mobile phone.
No experience necessary.
Bring a recording device you’re familiar with such as a phone or a tablet.
Tea and coffee will be available, but bring your own lunch.
There is no fee for participation in these workshops, but we do require that you register by Wednesday 16th August.
