Blue Mountains Planetary Health Centre
The Rotary Club of the Lower Blue Mountains visited the Planetary Health Centre for lunch and a fun day in nature during which they also toured the Planetary Health Centre’s Water Demonstration site to learn how to manage water better to protect their families and the Blue Mountains. The day included:
• a tour of the exhibition The Frogs of the Blue Mountains
• a plant based cheese making demo and tasting
• learning how to use the FrogID app
• how to build a frog pond
• how to make seed bombs and wicking beds
• how to choose the right sprinkler system to protect homes from fire
• how to use a thermal imaging camera to design against climate extremes
• and how to take part in Bushcare to protect habitat for wildlife.
