The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate, lead and manage the Councils Waste and Resources Strategies, asset and environmental management and policy program area. The role is also responsible for community education programs and undertaking service reviews and making recommendation on service changes.
We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in the development of waste and resource management policy, strategy and systems. Our ideal candidate will hold a Degree qualification, preferably in Environmental Engineering, Waste Management, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management (or similar field), together with extensive experience, a thorough knowledge and a record of achievement in stakeholder, community and industry engagement and sustainable waste and resource management.
Salary: commencing at $4096.46 gross per fortnight.
