This is a free event for young people aged 16 – 30
Join us and bring a meal for a shared dinner with guest speaker Robert Anderson. He will be our lecturer at the Pluriversity Philosophy School and the night will feature an introduction to philosophy and time to eat, chat and meet others.
Robert is an experienced analytic philosophy lecturer with specialities in teaching and researching in critical thinking, informal logic and fallacies; free will, and philosophy of religion.
About your teacher:
Dr Robert Anderson has over 15 years experience teaching philosophy and critical thinking in Universities. He has designed and taught undergraduate units in Critical Thinking, Formal Logic, the Philosophy of Language, Free Will and Religion. His major teaching and research areas are in critical thinking & informal logic; free will and the divine foreknowledge dilemma; and applied epistemology. Robert has received awards for excellence in teaching and often uses movie themes as philosophical thought-experiments to enhance understanding. He loves helping students grapple with complexity and use philosophy to reason and argue better.
