SUMMARY:Expressive Metal Workshop
DESCRIPTION:A day for developing your metalworking skills. You must have already completed at least one term of metalworking. You will also need to enrol as a workshop member or yearly member of the Art Centre  \nShare experiences\, increase your skills and confidence \, reflect on strengths and express yourself creatively. We will collectively decide the themes and direction for each session. A good starting point is reconnecting with each other and any unfinished objects. \nThe cost includes the use of equipment and tools each session but you will need to provide consumables and metals for your projects. I will have a limited stock for purchase. \nDates for booking are : \nFeb 28\, Mar 28\, April 25\, May 23\, June 27 10am – 3.30pm \nBook each session seperately . Limit of 6 per session. DESCRIPTION:Cast aside your responsibilities and busy schedules for 2 hours once a month and join Krystal for Art Expression.   \nEach session will provide an opportunity for your inner dreamer and tender heart to be brought to life in a safe and open minded atmosphere.   \nAfter learning some fun and dramatic techniques including splattering\, pen and ink\, masking\, salting\, bubbles\, charcoals\, cling wrapping and more\, you will be given a new prompt to inspire your art expression.  \nKrystal works mostly in watercolour and lessons will be based on this medium. \n Materials will be provided but if you have any of your own please feel free to bring them along. \nPlease register for the class online at least 24 hrs before the start time.

DESCRIPTION:Join Greater Blue Mountains Rotary and the Planetary Health Initiative for Rotarians 4 Planetary Health\, held on the second and fourth Mondays of the month\, at the Planetary Health Centre in Katoomba. We’re building on the collaborative work we’ve done over the last three years with our workshops on how to use tools and upcycle fashion\, the Pollinator Program and local storytelling. \nWe meet from 6pm and are working on multiple fronts: from expanding our local Skill Share program\, to prioritising strategies for community health\, wellbeing & disaster risk reduction\, to learning communication skills and expanding community media. We’re bringing together caring and committed local people\, keen to accelerate urgent action for Planetary Health\, and doing it in a way that we hope can be scaled globally. \nDinner and refreshments will be available from the Planetary Health ‘Cafe’.
