As we gather together as a community to #swarm4planetaryhealth at the Blue Mountains Planetary Health Day, express your creativity and experience the joy of collaboration in this collaborative drawing workshop led by Julie Paterson and the Blackheath Art Society team.

The event is free but donations welcome to go towards the Blackheath Art Society building renovation project.

Julie Paterson is a highly regarded painter, printmaker and designer of textiles. She owns a small fabric company called Cloth and works with a small team of people who love what they do, making textiles by hand, the old-fashioned way.

She also collaborates with others for the joy of making something together that we couldn’t make alone.

She believes collaborative art projects support mental health and help people develop a creative practice.

This workshop is part of a Bioregional Collaboration for Planetary Health and is supported by the Disaster Risk Reduction Fund (DRRF). The DRRF is jointly funded by the Australian and New South Wales governments.
