The inaugural Blue Mountains Food Security Fair is a satellite event for World Animal Day 2025.

It explores how learning to grow and prepare plant-based food can provide local food security while improving personal health and the health of the planet.

The day will include talks, workshops and stalls on foraging, seed saving, growing edible gardens, using solar dehydrators and other forms of food preservation, and plant based cooking demonstrations.
