Jane Armstrong: Youth Mental Health First Aid Course

9am – 5:30pm Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd September, 2019

101 Wentworth St Blackheath

This is a free course for young people aged 16 – 30

Learn how to recognise the common and disabling mental health problems in young people, where and how to get help when a young person is developing a mental illness, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and how to provide first aid in crisis situations. This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.
